Dijana Novak

My realization of the human potential to heal emerged during my experience with war that brought immense suffering to all involved. I witnessed the power of inner healing arising in people as their most original self-sustaining way to survive. This incredible force of body and mind remained an unmatched inspiration for my studies and practice of medicine in the years that followed.
I see this healing ability as the reflection of nature’s own intelligence. I search for the unique patterns in each person I treat to evaluate their energetic flow and find blockages that trigger illness. My treatment in its design supports both, body and mind to renew and remain healthy and balanced. This is accomplished through increasing blood and lymphatic circulation, detoxification, reduction of inflammation and associated pain, hormonal and digestive regulation, and immune and nervous system functioning support.
This medicine’s life nourishing nature transcends through millennia, and is carried on through generations of practitioners. I reach out to all who seek to experience this practice through safe and effective treatment.

It is very difficult to find just the right kind of support when experiencing infertility. I have been thrilled to have Dijana “on my team.” She asks wonderful questions and really listens, and seems to understand my needs and experiences better than most of the fertility specialists I have seen. Services
Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine
Methods include acupuncture, moxibustion, herbal medicine, dietary analysis, cupping, and Gua Sha.
These methods support healing of body pain, anxiety, depression, insomnia, headaches/migraines, fatigue, upper respiratory problems, seasonal and food allergies, digestive issues, addictions, injury or post surgical recovery, emotional stress recovery, among a wide variety of conditions affecting your health.
Dijana is especially interested in supporting women achieve and preserve vibrant health through the life stages with supporting regular menstrual cycle, fertility, pregnancy, postnatal care, happy motherhood, perimenopause, and menopause.
Acupuncture
A gentle insertion of sterile, single use acupuncture needles into specific acupuncture points to support healing change in the body. Most patients experience a deep sense of relaxation and calm.
Herbal medicine
Chinese herbal medicine complements and enhances acupuncture treatment. At times this is the preferred method of treatment and is administered as herbal formulas.
Moxibustion
A safe burning of prepared mugwort herb to induce warming effect within the meridians treated. There are indirect and direct types of this therapy.
Gua Sha
A gentle scraping of the skin surface with a ceramic or crystal tool to stimulate the blood flow.
Electro-acupuncture
Acupuncture performed with safe and gentle electrical stimulation when acupuncture needles are connected to electro-therapy device.
Policies
New Clients
Please complete the initial intake paperwork we email you before your first session. Additionally, please read our clinic policies and the initial clinic information we email to you.
Payment options
Cash, check (payable to LFP Acupuncture and Massage), credit/debit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and HSA)
Insurance Information
We require that you bring your photo ID and insurance card to your first appointment.
Copay/Co-Insurance due at time of service. Insurance companies are billed directly for the remaining allowable amount. If claims are denied, payment due will become patient’s responsibility.
Cancellations
A $75 fee will apply if your appointment is cancelled within 24-48 hours from your scheduled appointment time. Our regular service rate of $150 will apply for appointments cancelled or missed with less than 24 hours notice for any non-emergency reason.
